Nanoxo’s solvent-free metal halide perovskites have been stored in neutral gas at room temperature for over three years. This long storage period was a great opportunity to evaluate their quality with PXRD and potential instability over time.
It turned out that 3-year-old samples taken straight out of the box retained their initial quality, and their phase composition remained unchanged.
Also, FAPbI3, which is intrinsically thermodynamically metastable, is phase-pure and fully usable following short-term heating before use.
This makes Nanoxo’s solvent-free perovskites an ideal candidate for scientific and industrial applications to ensure high-quality and repeatable results:
- Possibility of long-term storage – no ink-induced degradation
- 100% pure phase – always perfect stoichiometry
- Lack of starting materials – elimination of the precursor weighing error
- No batch-to-batch variability
- Freedom of the solvent choice adapted to the specific deposition methods
- Green solvent-free manufacturing method
- Scalable technology
